Anchor. A physical action used to connect with a specific frame of mind. For example one might pinch their ear lobe to remind themselves of their confidence. First you make the decision to connect an action like pinching the ear lobe with confidence. Then repeat the pinching of the ear lobe several times while connecting it to a thought that makes you feel confident. Do this until it becomes a habit. Then when you need a boost of confidence in times of stress, you can bring it out by simply pinching your ear lobe.
